This is an island out of Ensenada, Baja Norte, Mexico … Not the best /easiest place to watch an event, but we will bring you great images through our website, video, etc.

….the event will be call by Gary Linden with the support of Surfline.com official forecaster of the event, and Greg Long (surfers’ representative) 72-48 hour in advance and it will be announce on the website!

I live in Playa Corona. I look out my windows and see the island. I would really appreciate a heads up on the dates of the event and also a possibility of hitching a boatride out to see the event. I appreciate your assistance.

Sure this event is fueled by passion and love! This is because the surfers want to charge Todos this year! They think that it could be one of the best big wave contest ever done…we hope so!

Thank you! Unfortunately not this year…We were planning to show the contest Live on our website but we couldn’t do it for some technical problems! We are already working to solve it for next year.
I learned to surf in seal beach and the steam plant jetties in the 60’s and would like to see one more big board event before I die (end stage IPF) Am mobile and want to find out how to rent a pachanga or someway pay for a ride out to the island to watch and feel. Any suggestions?

i live in ensenada, and i´ve always wanted to go to an event like this, are there tours for some one who wants to go see the event, or its only for the participants and if there are how much are they charging, good luck, and lets hope we have it every year

Hey Guys congratullations. This event is the pure surfing essential…You guys are bringing back the tru vibe of big wave surfing. Wish I could be there. I’m the youngest brother of Ricardo Bocão, a brazilizan 80’s big rider, who use to ride Gary Linden’s surfboards. And, by luck, when I was 10, I got my first surfboard, wich was a wonderfull Linden board. So, I’m a huge fan. Today, i’m leaving in mexico, and a good friend of Angelo Lozano, who rides your amazing rockets. Well, I wish the best for you all, hope we get a good swell soon…and Coco its going to Rock!!! I vote for Nogales!!!! Yeah. Gary your are the best!!!
