Gary Linden was the Contest Director for the previous 2 events at Todos Santos in 1998 and 1999 (Reef @  Todos) as well as for the Red Bull Big Wave Africa, The Quiksilver Ceremonial Punta de Lobos and the Billabong Pico Alto Invitacional in 2009 (those two events are part of this season Big Wave World Tour). Gary is also the Head Judge for the Mavericks Surf Contest. Linden has also set-up the judging and scoring criteria for most of those events making him hands down the most experience leader for the job!

Gary will be assisted in the organization task by Event Manager Pierre Camoin. Pierre also has an extensive experience running surfing events and was the Operations Manager of both Reef @ Todos events along with being the Technical Coordinator for the Mavericks event since 2004. Gary and Pierre have been working together on surfing event since 1998 and for Linden Surfboards for more than 6 years (Gary as President since 1973 and Pierre as Manager since 2003).

Ricardo Dominguez, former Mexican National Surfing Champion (1971) will join the team as Event Consultant/Mexico’s Liaison. Ricardo is the founder and organizer of the Mexican Surf Fiesta event in San Miguel which has been running for the last 28 years. He was Director of Operations of both Reef@Todos in 1998 and 1999. He assisted in the event logistics of the 2006 WCT Rip Curl Search in Huatulco, Mexico.  Dominguez brings an extensive local knowledge and network to the organization.

This team, driven by their passion for surfing and big wave riding, forms an incredible experienced group with an unmatched potential to organize a successful event!
